Quick to set up and working as needed
I recently at work now have the need to move my laptop to another part of the building on a daily basis. It's connected to, among other things, two monitors and a LAN cable that's necessary for one application to network (wireless is not usable in this case), Unplugging and re-plugging on a daily basis has quickly become annoying. The replicator not allows be to disconnect or reconnect in about one second. It even offers more USB ports than the laptop.
The only (slight) glitch is I was using the VGA and HDMI ports on my laptop for the two monitors, and the replicator does not appear to have HDMI. But it did have a DVI port. I was using a VGA-HDMI adapter for one monitor;now I simply use a regular DVI cable. There was also a slight delay in usability as the laptop searched for and installed the USB drivers.

Great for upgrading a grab'n'go telescope tripod.
I use my two KINGJOY camera heads for my two smaller 'grab'n'go' telescopes. They are mounted on a couple professional grade camera tripods that I picked up second-hand without heads. The dovetail plate is longer and more stable (less wobble) than a regular camera tripod (or the sad compact tripods that came with the two scopes). The fluid action and the length of the handle helps keep me from over-shooting when adjusting the smaller field of view of the telescopes.
