I was watching Oprah Winfrey one day and the Author was on her show talking about the book. I love a good true to life read and it seemed like it would keep my attention. Believe me when I say that this book is so powerful and reaches right down to your soul. My heart cried out for these characters from the beginning to the end. Rich with history and so true to life that I had a hard time believing it wasn't a non-fiction. I highly recommend this book but please, adults only!!
