I wish I could say better things
The filters from this manufacturer are usually first-rate, but mine came second-hand and after a few weeks, became noisy. Most cannister filters are barely audible, but this particular unit buzzes like an old refrigerator.

Would buy again.
Nice solid metal case. Includes shims to keep the drive properly positioned. However, opening the case requires depressing small buttons in detents in the case wall, and it's a bit fussy. So is getting the drive into the case with the power/data hitch remaining positioned. But once in, it's solid enough, and it's not like you're going to do that a lot.

Does what it's supposed to do, and isn't so ugly it scares the dog.
