The best for road navigating
1 of 1 found this helpful I've had these atlases for many years. This latest one is just about the most convenient size- large enough pages to plan a journey but the book is not unwieldy on your lap like some earlier versions. It is still big though. It has to be to cover the country at this scale.
The best thing for me is that, instead of restricted motorway junctions being marked by just a different coloured dot, the slip roads and actual exits and entries are shown. The detail is very good without being overwhelming.
If you like maps, once you have tried one of these you will not want to go back to another type.
Criticism?- Yes; the route planning map is poor. In an atlas of this scale you do need a few pages of , say, 9 miles to the inch to plan long journeys.

A lovely little point and shoot camera, giving decent pictures.
Got it for a song on e-bay, sold as defective as it kept showing flat battery. Only problem was that it will not tolerate old/weak batteries (common problem with small Canons apparently).
Lovely lightweight little camera, looks nice too. Takes as good a picture as you will get with this sensor size; quite impressive really. As a holiday or party camera it does very well. Macro focusing a bit hit and miss, but auto setting covers most needs.

Styling a bit iffy, but an excellent point and shoot camera with great image quality
A strange looking little camera that was supposed to be 'funky' at the time, with white, baby blue and prosthetic pink choice of colours. The white is the least offensive. Inside it is a 1000is camera, which is well rated. The E1 is actually better to use, as the 1000is' top function selector is too easy to move accidentally.
The E1 is a great little camera with excellent image quality, astounding for the sensor size. It is an easy point and shoot on 'auto', which most of us use.
The only minus points are that the macro can be hit and miss. and these small Canons will not tolerate old or weak batteries. Get some new quality batteries and all will be well.
