Great way to reuse old LCD/IPS panels

I had purchased this and was blown away by how functional it is. Pros: -Works great with VGA and HDMI (haven't tested A/V, or the tuner yet) -Audio presets by default are decent. But, after tweaking, small crappy speakers from an old ipod dock sound extremely good. Very good bass and treble. Overall, this has a very good (and powerful) DAC in it. Cons: -Images (when viewing on a USB stick) appear grainy and low quality -Does not decode ATSC, and uses PAL for everything by default (with no way to change that) -Power Supply has grounding plug, but is not actually connected -Remote feels flimsy and occasionally creaks while it is being used -Overscan has to be adjusted for HDMI (to fix this, press menu then 1147, then arrow down into General, and then select overscan) -7 Key keypad was selected in the firmware (this comes with a 5 key) -(While not as important) I am unable to adjust the display brightness -(Also not very important) While it does support tuning to the entire US FM band, it does not allow the user to use it as an FM radio -Interface is not consistent -Takes about 9 seconds to turn on (and be usable) after pushing power on the remote (even longer when you have enabled a custom logo to be displayed) Overall, I am impressed by the quality and flexibility of this product and would buy it again and again. Also, to use it as a TV in the US, you will need a european male coaxial to US female coaxial converter.

Works as described

As cheap as it is, it seems to work well. I had to reboot in order for audio to work (maybe because I was using a DP to DVI adapter at first) but now that it works, it works well. I don't know if it will fail on me months down the road, but for something that can be had for under $10, I can't complain.
