Lighthouse

I wanted it to turn a revolving beacon in a 3 foot tall lighthouse . I didn't know what RPM I needed so I ordered a 3 , and a 5 R P M , ended up using the 3 . It turns a 1 lb glass dome that's blacked out with aluminum tape inside ,leaving a 1 inch square void for the light beacon . Plenty strong. Thanks

Turn a glass dome for a lighthouse beacon.

I purchased a 2 rpm and 5 rpm . I used the 2 ,better speed . The glass dome hangs from the motor and turns with ease. Blacked out the glass leaving 1 inch clear opening for the light beam. Works great . Great motors for small projects. Delivery was good.
