This is a great everyday lens for the price, I love it!
1 of 1 found this helpful So far I have used it for landscapes, kids playing and portraits. There are better lenses out there to do those jobs but not in a single lens, in its price range. My only issue with it is the zoom creep, but for a quarter of the price of the canon lens I can live with the creep
To me, the images are crisp and clean but I am not a pro.
I love the zoom range 18-250 which works out to be equivalent to about 28 - 400 on my aps-c sensor.
The stabilization of the next version ( 18-270 ) would be nice but saving about $350 dollars was worth it.
I have and will continue to recommend this lens.
