the only negative is the locking slide s...

the only negative is the locking slide switch which tends to slide back intothe way of closing the scissors. this results in a broken plastic locking mechanism IF you think you are just cuttinc something a little tougher. so with sufficient attention to this potential problem, they work great.

PROS: excellent screen, 4 USB 2.0 ports, Dual core CPU, takes 2GB DDR2 RAM, trackpad has vertical and horizontal scroll, 250 gig hard drive, good sound from internal speakers, battery last a long time, good cooling, came with XP Pro (with COA), pleasure to use CONS: a little thick and heavy compared to a thinkpad, no built-in web cam or microphone
