Makes headphone use easy
I recently bought a new T.V. and it did not have a headphone jack. My mother is very hard of hearing, so I had to rig a headphone to her chair but the plug does not fit very well the only output from the T.V. (optical). This device fit the bill perfectly and mother is very happy she can hear the dialog of her programs.

Leaks
1 of 1 found this helpful Does not fit as the original GE filter, does not seal. I don't know if it is a material issue with the seal or the design of it, or the tolerance of the filter as it relates to the main housing. I was able to seal it by adding a .015 thick o-ring the same diameter of the seal, under the seal. Personally I would not by this peticular filter again but stick to original GE stock.
