A waterproof, mechanical field watch with day date and color options at a great price!
I have a "standard" Seiko 5 with a cream face that I really enjoy, but I live be the beach and at 5 bar it's not really suitable to wear in the water. I found this SNZG09 and it ticks all the boxes, looks really good and is a fraction of the price of anything comparable (I had been looking at the Hamilton field watch with the earth brown face, but that's four times the price of this one).
Boxes: mechanical, 10 bar, day date.
I really like the green face!
As with my Seiko 5 I did buy some easy change watch bands (I really like Barton Watch Bands) in silicone, nylon and sailcloth that give me a nice set of options for different occasions. All of these look preferable to the Seiko band.
Face is clear, lumens bright, no problems going in and out of the water. Needs to be worn for a few hours each day at least to keep wound. Very high bang for buck value!
