Unique Design Makes the Difference
I tried 4 different kinds of traps. This is the only one that is easy to use, good quality and very effective. The tubular design is unique and that's what makes this one best for me. We have very crumbly dry dirt in the summer and this one keeps the dirt from collapsing from the top or covering the bait from below. Once a gopher enters this trap he is dead.

Clamptite Tool Useful for Many Repairs
The tool is well made and rugged. It will take some practice to use. The wire that came with it is very stiff and somewhat difficult to work with, but does make a strong clamp, perhaps even stronger than a hose clamp. If your connection is in a hard to reach or tight space, a standard hose clamp would be a better choice. I will use this tool whenever I don't have a proper hose clamp or if I need a lower profile on the connection.
