Technically works but you still have to remove the ballast
It would have been helpful to provide more details on the use. I believe that in order to use this device, you would need to rewire the electrical to bypass the ballast. But if I'm going through all that trouble, why wouldn't I just replace the 4 pin receptacle with the socket that I need? I guess I'm not seeing the use case. At any rate, I was able to confirm that power was getting through the device but the ballast was preventing me from getting a screw in LED light bulb to work. So I guess the product technically works but only for the specific application where you could remove the ballast and, for some reason, you would want to reconnect the power directly to the 4 pin socket, rather than replacing the socket while your re-wiring to remove the ballast.
