A Visit to an Old Friend...
1 of 1 found this helpful This game was underrated by many ways: Bad camera angles, not much connection to the previous game, no Trish, very linear and random plot, and yeah, many things... but I'm not THAT bothered with the game, because face it, Dante can now do more moves and shoot multiple targets at once, and you play a new character named, Lucia(who happens to be the replacement of Trish). While the game's plot sidetracked from the first one, it still had a fair story of a new Baddie who took over the human world and you've got to stop him at all costs.
I'll stop there, since I only played the game once and it really didn't really get to me quite as easily as the first one. But nonetheless, good.

An exceptionally enjoyable Mecha Game
This version of Armored Core 4 is far superior than it's brother in the 360 console; it boasts more graphical prowess than AC4-360. But aside that, the game takes the player in the role of a NEXT, which means you are RAVEN no more like in the previous games. But the newly designed Armored Core(s) have the ability to boost in such high velocities with minimal hindrance and does possess the qualities of having "Human Plus" or simply put, more enhanced than the average AC from the previous Armored Core series. You can tune the ACs to your hearts content and even include additional armor padding to further the stats in terms of "armor/PA retrification." But the most noticeable feature is the schematics section of the game. Each time you purchase, obtain, or challenge ACs, you gain the option to acquire schematics or blueprints for AC designs with various abilities, parts, and pre-customed armaments. Graphically, it technically shows the power of the PS3, but does have limits... it could be better eventually when later Armored Core games become available. Great game though, so do not miss this mecha game.

Gundam Wage Wars Dynasty Warriors Style!
This is another great game, but slightly odd. After Bandai's failure to appeal to the crowd from their previous game (MSG: Crossfire), they ally with KOEI (Producers of Dynasty Warriors) and combine strengths to create a great game to imitate Dynasty Warriors. Overall, it's a great game and which includes many MS's from many Gundam series. Play and see for yourself, how great it is.
