Peavey 6505 MH Amp Micro Head Tube Guitar Amplifier
    Nov 06, 2015
    Not bad for the price
Very good sounding amplifier with surprising volume for two EL84s. Effects loop is nice, but a bit hot. It plays nicely with higher headroom delays, but older delays might not be so happy. My Boss DD3 distorted in the loop, but my Digitech Hardwire worked fine. The emulated outputs are marginal. USB and XLR emulated outs both sounded muffled and narrow. The crunch mode drops the output, so switching between clean and crunch yields a quieter crunch sound. Reverb is just ok. But the amp really shines in its tone. It has all the tone you'd expect from a 6505-series. The clean is very nice, and can be pushed into blues territory. The crunch takes that blues territory and can go to heavy classic rock. The lead channel begins with the 80s and ends in modern high gain. EQ is very musical. Resonance and Presence are surprisingly effective for a low-wattage amp. I've actually used it at rehearsals through a 1960b 412 and had no trouble keeping up with the other guitarist's 50w head. It has its shortcomings, but overall is a great amp worth the price.

VL300 Legacy 3 100W All Tube 3 Channel Guitar Amplifier Head BLM
    Feb 29, 2016
Killer tones, big power, great versatility
The clean is very Fender. Channel 2 produces awesome rhythm and lead tones. Channel 3's drive button gets you where you need to go. Reverb is programmable, boost is an awesome feature, loop is transparent. Midi capability makes it extremely flexible, and with the amp being rackmountable, it works for both plug-and-play guys as well as outboard enthusiasts. All drive tones are completely musical. Not for the metal/djent guys, but it's honestly for anyone else.
Pedaltrain Pedal-Booster Combo Pack Small, Medium, Large (3-Pack)
    Aug 22, 2016
Perfect combo pack for your Pedaltrain
They do what they say - raise your rear pedals so you don't step on your front pedals to reach them. Attaching them with Velcro means you can change configurations on the fly. This triple pack was a bargain as well.
