Heating up an LP Copy

I put these p'ups into an old Eros LP copy, with the Jimmy Page wiring configuration, and have to say they have completely converted a guitar with a lacklustre output from two low resistance single coils dressed up in humbucker covers int something that would grace any gig.

Seriously Classical

Aquila make good strings for many acoustic stringed instruments, and these are particularly suited for quiet baroque style guitars, being tuned to A435 rather than A 440, and the manufacturers recommend that the silver-plated copper-wound multifilament silk basses be tuned down a semitone when not playing. If anyone knows any better strings for such purposes, I'd be intrigued to try them.
