just like the original string hook except it is a little larger so it doesn't move as freely as the original.

You get what you pay for.
Bought them to cover Fender spaced pole pieces on my single coil pickups in my Strat. Got 3 different pole spacings on each of them. One of them was close so I made it fit the Fender spacing by widening the holes with an exacto knife. Of the other 2, one fits a Squire brand pickup so at least I can use it on a future project. The last one fits nothing I have. And I still have to get 2 new ones to fit the remaining Fender spaced single coils.
