does NOT split into dual monitors

This product was advertised by the vendor as a splitter for dual monitors; far from it, I got the same image on BOTH monitors. I have the correct drivers for my video card, this cable does NOT work. I do not recommend the product, and much less it's vendor for misleading the description.
