Power to the, um, PC!

My father's Dell PC, that went out of warranty in 2013, suddenly would not power up. Chances were that it was the PSU. To be able to test that theory for less than £20, and to receive the component within a couple of days removed a lot of frustration. The replacement is, seemingly, working well. The fact that it is still possible to purchase such items demonstrates the true value of ebay and the traders supplying otherwise out of stock items. Add to this the excellent search engine that presented suitable options. Evidence of technology working well. All told an affirming experience.
