Excellent value with extra functions
Lightweight, compact size. The extra HOLD feature is an wonderful benefit for heavy odor rooms or houses.

Best all around hammock
3 of 3 found this helpful I have a jungle hammock but the weight was unbearable for long distance hikes. The Lawson Hammock is light and added features make it even better. On my last section hike of the Appalachian Trail in NC it rained constantly but was not an issue for this hammock. When it was heavily raining, we were also able to set the hammock into a tent format inside the shelter which a regular hammock could not do. The spreader bars makes the inside roomier and relaxing. The only negative issue I can remember was the condensation within the hammock. The high humidity outside and cool mornings were major contributors that was easily controlled by increasing ventilation. At 195 lbs I was apprehensive with the lightweight cords and fabric but both held up perfectly. The instruction sheet that is included is pretty weak but simple common sense makes setup easy. It would have been nice to have tree straps included instead of sourcing elsewhere.
