Functional board despite damage

The product was exactly what I wanted. However one of the connectors was damaged and making a good connection to the ribbon cable is not as secure as I would like. I managed a work-around but this motherboard should have been flagged as damaged.

Decent everyday working laptop for Linux.

After adding a drive, a newer battery, and more memory I have the laptop I want. The only thing that doesn't work properly is the suspend switch on the lid. Minor problem.

Nice mobo for the money.

This project is not for the faint of heart nor the clumsy. Replacing the motherboard brought my laptop back to life. I would have liked the faster processor that my original had but it seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. In fact the computer itself seems impossible to buy. This one is adequate for my needs.
