I was TOOK!

I thought it was exactly what I was looking for, BUT: First, it needed a battery, which kind of surprised me but not a big deal-- I've probably changed about 20 Triathlon batteries over the past 30 years, and I buy them by the dozen. Once I had it working and closed up, I found that the lower left button, the most important control on the watch, is inoperative--IT DON'T WORK! So you can't even set the watch at all. Answers to the three questions above--yes, yes, and yes, but that's all moot when I can't set the watch. Very disappointed.
