Great kit, great price
This kit comes with everything you need. It also has detailed instructions with pictures (black and white). The switch goes in the factory spot and looks OEM (matches best with black interior, mine is gray). The harness is split between interior and exterior to make installation easier.
Instructions say to poke a hole through the harness grommet on the firewall to route the peer wire... I poked a hole in a plastic one near it instead, to keep them separate.
Works for me and looks great with LED bulbs swapped in.

Works great if you don't need an immobilizer chip
It's nice and light weight. Instructions are included to pair the remote, and it works pretty good. The blank is correct and works fine to unlock the doors if you get your pattern duplicated onto it. This is where the good stuff ends though.
In the pics of the item, you can see what looks like a transponder chip. But now I know why it's not called out and labeled: it's just a filler piece. Neither side of it has any markings saying what type of chip it is, and it won't work on vehicles with an immobilizer. (I ended up breaking the chip out of another brand new key, placed it in and paired it, so now it works)
The remote's buttons are made of plastic unlike the OEM's rubber. And there aren't any little ribs or nubs on them so you have to look at which button you're pressing.
But for the price, these keys get an overall rating of OKAY.

Works great with Nissan Datascan II software (NDS II) for Nissan and Infiniti!
2 of 2 found this helpful My primary purpose isn't for VW/Audi/Seat, but this cable type with its FTDI chip is what is best supported for use with NDS II software on Nissan and Infiniti. It works to get the live data gauges to display and synced some brand new immobilizer keys on a G35. Minor tuning and data resets can be done too.
I got this cable with its FTDI chip to replace a different one with the "other" chip with compatibility issues. This cable works with the latest drivers downloaded by Windows 10, so no need to try the ones on the included disc. Great multipurpose cable to have for your garage. Versatile and must-have.
