Canon PowerShot A630
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this camera to replace my very similar A95 (older model)that was stolen. THE main selling point of this camera to me is the swivel viewing screen. I have used this constantly...swivel it down to be able to hold the camera over my head in a crowd to get a clear shot of the subject, swivel it up so I could get the camera at ground level (without having to lay down on the ground!) to take pics of children or pets, etc. on their level. Having had this feature on my A95, I did not even consider a camera without it. As for the rest, it's a great camera for my use, with adequate means to manually adjust for different situations. It has so many pre-programmed modes, however, that manual adjustments are rarely necessary. My only complaint is that it is not as intuitive as I'd like. Sometimes I spend an inordinate amount of time trying to find an adjustment that I know is there. But overall, I love the camera and the pictures are perfect.

Amazing little cook stove
This stove is everything they say it is. I can boil water and cook food using nothing more than twigs...nothing larger than my little finger. Due to the chimney effect, it burns very hot and completely, reducing the fuel to fine powder. It also cools quickly. There are a couple of things you must realize however. First is that you have to keep feeding it fuel. When you're only burning twigs, it's not going to keep burning for long, so you need to have a supply on hand before starting and keep feeding it every couple of minutes while you're cooking with it. Second, it's a small stove suitable for smaller cookware, so don't expect to feed a family unless you do it one person at a time. Note that you can also used commercial fuel if you want...fuel pellets or solid alcohol. So far I've used it several times at home just to try it out and demonstrate it to people, but when I take it out for real I will probably take a little commercial fuel for when dry wood is scarce or to help damp fuel to get going.

Great product!!!
I only got this yesterday, but after a minute or two figuring it out I loaded and unloaded six or seven clips in the time I could have loaded one without it. What a wonderful time (and finger) saver! It's everything it's advertised to be.
