Hypertech 1008 PowerStat Thermostat 160 deg Replaces Factory Thermostat

Happier LT1

Dropped operating temp from 210 to 185. Remember that LT1s run much hotter than the opening temp of the thermostat indicates. They run at 210 degrees with the OE 180 degree thermostat and around 180 degrees with this 160 thermostat. Much more reasonable temperature for my heads & cam motor. Make sure your ECM is tuned for a lower fan on temperature to take advantage of this thermostat.
