2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LT - replacement of Rear Liftgate Hatch Struts

Made in USA and EXCELLENT quality! Super easy to install using only a standard flat blade screwdriver. The listing included instructions with pictures and was very easy to follow. Had the job done in less than 15 minutes. Just a reminder, when you install the new parts you need to have the liftgate opened up fully to line up the strut attachment points. This is because the struts are fully extended and under pressure and you will not be able to push the cylinder rod (silver shiny part) into the cylinder (the black part) by hand to try to line them up. I was by myself (with two people it'd be a snap!) so I used a spare piece of PVC pipe as a brace. Placed one end on the bumper and the other end to hold the door up. Once installed, the liftgate opens and closes smoothly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Much better than expected!

For the approximately $20 spent including shipping, this was a good deal. Reasonably durable (so far) and works pretty well. I would recommend using an air pump to blow up the bumpers and you will have to fiddle around with the water tube on the side of the "runway" to get the sprayers spraying in the right direction on to the slide, but once that was done it worked well. It brought a lot of fun for $20 bucks.
