Magnaflow Performer 2-into-1: Caution - Poorly Designed Exhaust

I spent months researching and comparing exhaust systems for my '05 Heritage Softail. This was a very big decision for me and a substantial expenditure of money. I decided on the Magnaflow Performer 2-into-1. Yesterday, I spent more money to have a professional install the pipes. Sadly, they do not seat into the exhaust flanges. When the rear pipe is seated, the forward pipe will not seat flush into the cylinder exhaust flange. The pipes were not damaged. They are simply not designed properly. Consequently, there is now an exhaust leak from the front jug which causes popping on deceleration. I have written to Magnaflow for their help, but I am not optimistic that they can assist. As I am reluctant to spend more money to remove the pipes and then, again, to have replacement pipes installed. It seems I am stuck with an improperly fitting exhaust and additional deceleration noise for which I did not bargain. This whole experience has been a tremendous disappointment, and I am unlikely to use either Ebay or Magnaflow products again.
