EDC STILETTO
Very solid.
Well made, one piece design (2 if you count the screw-down pommel).
Kinda out of the way of Schrade's normal offerings.
But I am glad they made it.
Great personal protection with enough space inside grip to store supplies.
I plan on putting blood staunching supplies like Celox in it (just in case I need it)
Not too sure of safety on sheath, though.
I wouldn't trust it to wear knife point up.
The lever you depress to release blade does not sink far enough into the corresponding hole on knife to provide a positive lock.
This can lead to losing the knife and /or injury.
It's a great sheath other than the locking mechanism.
I plan to see if I can reshape the part of the lever that connects to the knife and see if I can get a more positive lock.
Love the clip on the sheath as well - it is curled at the opening, forming an almost closed loop that will not allow it to be pulled off a belt.
If the lever-lock was better this feature would allow for great inverted carry.
At any rate....this IS a great dagger or stiletto and as I stated prior, I am glad it was made.
For it suits my needs well.
