Not firm enough to be supportive.
I bought this pillow to help support my back but it doesn't really help since it doesn't hold its shape. Being a feather pillow, it quickly molds itself into a scoop shape and that's how it stays.
Also, there are more and more quills poking through the cover so it's like snuggling with a porcupine. Feather and down filled pillows need a very tightly woven cover and this one simply doesn't make the grade.
As a bed or sofa accessory it might be nice, but I had hoped for more.

I chose this pillow sham for it's color but now that I have it in hand I really like the feel of it, too. The quality is even better than I expected.
