Vignettes the image.

On the Sony FDR-AX55 it vignettes unacceptably when using steadyshot. I removed a bunch of material from the hood edges like a tulip style hood and finally realized that it's vignetting from the throat. The rear aperture of the hood is what you're seeing. I removed some of that material with a file but cannot remove enough to use steadyshot. I can use the wide angle without steady shot, but not with.
