Great buy for home recording
I have used many types of recordable DVD's over the years and have found these to be the best and most dependable by far for my DVD recorder. I prefer to buy bulk since I live in a rural area with not many places to purchase these and prices are rather high where I live. This was a good deal for price and the free shipping was a bonus. For care free DVD recording, you can't go wrong with Philips DVD-R's!

Best DVD-R's I have ever used
These DVD-R's have always been the best for my recording. I have used Philips for years and never have issues with them as far as recording or finding any bad disc's. They are a step ahead of Verbatim or Maxell every time!

Sony Playstation 3 Game Console
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought the 60GB Playstation 3 SYSTEM. I must admit that I am an electronics "techie" and enjoy keeping up with the latest gadgets. I read allot of reviews and comparisons with the XBOX before I ever decided to buy the PS3. I really liked Sony's backwords compatability feature, being able to play previous PS1 AND PS2 games and so far my PS2 games have run well on it. Internet connectivity and game play were also a big plus. The price was high when I bought mine (before Christmas)and I really didn't think I would win an EBAY bid on one at what I was willing to spend, but I did and it even came with the one game I really wanted to play - Resistence - Fall of Man. What a great game! The graphics are superb and the game play was even better. As soon as I set the system up it was ready to update itself. Process was a little slow, but my wireless network might have something to do with that. All in all, I have been very impressed with the PS3 and am really looking forward to some of the future games that are in the works for it. The only feature I really haven't gotten used to is the Sixaxis controller. In Call of Duty 3, you use it to drive, fight, plant explosives and I haven't quite got the hang of it. I can use the left stick more efficiently to drive and stay on the road. It also would have been nice to have a Memory Card slot installed instead of having to buy an adapter to put your saved games from previous Playstation systems on the installed harddrive. I know that I am getting a little picky, but that is all that I can find about the Playstation 3 that I don't really like. I think this system was built to last and has allot of interesting bells and whistles to keep any techie thrilled. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a next generation gaming platform. I certainly am not sorry that I bought mine!!!
