The painting of the resting traveler is titled '111 degrees'. As it turned out later, the day I painted this oil on canvas, it was actually 111 degrees outside in So. Cal that day. I titled it prior to finding this out. OMG!

Yenne is a great writer and hisrorian period. plus he writes well....
Having had a Mother whos maiden name was Yenne I had to buy this book. plus I've seen things.... what I found was a writer who knows science having lived it and researches historical facts and is telling stories so important to the content of our nations history. I encourage reading any of Bill Yenne's books as they are engaging, prolific and dead on!
