poor design and quality
I was able to make this item work however the clamping end (that clamps onto the shift shaft) was not welded on straight and is a different design from the original which requires bending this item so that it will sit properly without hitting or rubbing on the side cover of the engine.
The original clamp is longer allowing the shifter to clamp onto the sift shaft while allowing the shifter its self to be pushed out far enough to clear the engine side cover properly. Since this clamp is smaller and welded center to the shifter arm it will not properly clear without bending/modification.
The unit I received also had the clamp not welded straight, it was twisted and off-center which also complicated the installation.
This is defiantly a cheap replacement that will work if you can do the modifications but is not a recommended replacement.
