heavy duty and solid
i was skeptical about the suburito. i was originally set on wood but decided to try this for the price. im very impressed. it is very solid and moves well. the handle is a bit to round and can affect edge alignment during suburi. however, they designed a faux wood grain into the manufacturing process which improves grip and feels realistic. also has some kanji on the blade. this one weighs about three pounds. overall 45-1/2” length. handle 14”. balance point 10” from the handle.

a valuable resource
i have only had the book a short time but first impressions are very positive. if you are interested in suruchin, meteor hammer, or similar rope based weapons, you will want this resource. 212 pages. history, multiple techniques and katas from various origins. only downside i have about the book are slightly thin pages. makes me wonder how long the book will last with multiple readings ahead.
