Works well buttttt........
It works as advertised. AC power and DC usb works well. I was running it off a lithium battery pack homemade.
Things to bare in mind: You will not get full power out of the batteries, even fully charged the inverter did not recognize 100% and subsequently it cut out before the batteries were dead. You can not set the max and min discharge, which I wasn't expecting at this price but still just so you know. The display is basically a gimmick, it works if you hook it up to a well charged battery, and stops working when it beeps meaning low voltage.
So don't buy 4 of these for your sailboat, but otherwise it works fine.

Great starter
Good starter. Things to keep in mind:
You will need a fitting to attach your sink or other water flow to the cooling tank. The kit comes with 3 feet of 3/8 I.d. tubing to use with the cooler. The kit only had enough copper pipe to put the cooling tank directly above the cool pot or swung out to the side but if you use it this way you will have to build your own stand to support the cooling tank. If you use the cooling tank directly above the main pot then much of the cooling efficiency is lost due to heat rising off the main pot.
All in all only order this kit if you are "handy". It's not a fill it and run it option.

A lot of laptop for the money!
I shopped around quite a bit looking for a laptop with an SSD, dedicated graphics card, and decent processor. Found this acer and I am very pleased with the laptop.
For normal use it uses intel onboard graphics (browsing, watching movies, typing, spreadsheets, etc.) but if you want to play some games or do video rendering the GeForce 940 turns on and you can do that stuff reasonably well too. It won't run new games at max resolution or settings but your average call of duty/titanfall/battlefront player should have no issues have some fun at good resolutions.
It came with 8gb of DDR4 memory in 1 slot, with an empty slot. Don't do what I did and buy DDR3 memory without looking into it, it will not fit. After upgrading to 16GB of ram, and eliminating some bloatware, the laptop starts in 10 seconds. shuts down in 4 seconds. watching movies about 6.5 hours of battery (low brightness) idle for 12 hours (they claim) gaming about 3 hours.
If you want SOME gaming potential at a great price then look no further. if you want the cheapest thing going this isn't for you, and if you want the best gaming machine this isn't for you.
I support Newegg and Canada Computers.
