Absolute knockout!

What a great recording. The singers are excellent and the quality of the technical recording is first rate. Big sound, full bodied, excellent detail. How have I managed to miss this recording in 30 years of listening to opera? Secondhand CD is in very good condition. Seller was careful to ensure good packaging. Everything arrived safe and sound in a matter of days.

High standards!

As expected Vladimir Ashkenazy and the Concertgebouw do a great job with this piece. Very well recorded to Decca’s always high standards. Very well pressed for secondhand recording and speedy delivery.
