If you like earbuds, this Skullcandy model is a great buy at a fantastic price.
I am not a proponent of the ear buds. I find them very unyielding and they do not stay in my ears. Consequently, I thought that these would be different and purchased them with that thought. However, the Skullcandy earbuds proved to fit the same and stay in my ears only a short period before falling out. If earbuds are your fancy, you can do a lot worse than the the Skullcandy brand. They do deliver a fuller sound than my previous lightweight headphones (that, by the way, have a small loop that fits around the ear to keep the earbuds in place). Like I said, my only issue is with keeping them in my ears, and that's not the manufacturers issue.

The title is what the entire cd is about. Well titled.
This is early Gil at his best. Very reflective of the ills of society and at his lyrical best in expressing the same. From Sign of the Ages to the title cut, Pieces of a Man, Gil weaves you through the bitter helplessness of the sixties for the black man who has watched his parents struggle against the stone wall of racism and views his future through that same lens. It is the black man's loud cry for equality and the world hears his heart through Gil Scott Heron. With a very nice but subtle jazz background, Gil takes his audience on a trip through the hood and leaves you with the same feeling of those who have no hope. Thanks, Gil. We miss you.
