Works well
Small, lightweight, operates very well. A bit pricey, but it's for a good cause.

Decent
A bit overpriced, but when you need it, you're glad you have one.
Could be built a bit more robust. All plastic design. I.T. guys shouldn't be as hard on it as a lineman would be. Be sure you have an inductive probe. Keep a spare battery in the kit.

Good portable, outstanding FM, AM&HF are OK. SSB could be improved with slower AGC
The radio has an EXTREMELY STRONG FM section with EXCELLENT rejection. One of the best handhelds I've ever used. I was actually quite surprised!
The AM BCB reception is OK, but just average.
HF reception is average but really shines when you use a longer antenna.
The BFO is smooth. I had to center it after a proper alignment of the radio.
This radio would benefit from a slower AGC on SSB. All of these small portable radios have a fast attack / decay and are generally not selectable like you would find in a HAM radio. I may modify this one to use a slower AGC. I've done that to the Kaito and it is a major improvement.
