Used this for Escort 9500ix. Sticks well to the windshield and holds the detector firm.
2 of 2 found this helpful No more fumbling around with the suction cups that pop off the windshield now and then. I cleaned the area well with Glass Plus then carefully positioned the bracket where I wanted it. My 9500ix fits it without problems. Just slide the detector on to the bracket with the detector button pressed until it stops, then release the button and move the detector forward and back until it clicks. Easy.

Good plunger switch
For those who want to know - the threads are SAE 1/4" x 32 TPI. 1/4" diameter and 32 threads per inch. I used one of these to add a front brake light to a BMW R26 lever mount. With care, this can be done and looks and works good.
