Incredible Doc.
Like "Searching for Sugar Man", this is a must see documentary that most people can relate to. It is all about a life that didn't conform to the norm with the very admirable traits of caring, justice and a search for freedom, not to mention a giant acting talent. It is about living and dying.

Emotionally engaging saga of the life of a true WWII hero
2 of 2 found this helpful This was among the top 3 films of 2014 (a great year). It is a very real and intense feeling film and thus very engaging. It exposes past brutal societal treatment of homosexuals and the autistic (aspergers?) at the hands of western culture while telling a critical story about the resolution of WW2. Benedict Cumberbatch gives an exceptional performance. Kiera, as usual, is excellent.
