Initially the pages would not tear off the pad without leaving the LH edge ragged. Things have improved as more sheets have been removed.

Hard wearing and waterproof - time will tell.

The 1000D material looks substantial. The two shoulder strap clips will be used to hold GPS & camera, I replaced the plastic ones with metal screw-gate. There are no waist-belt pockets, or key clip in the hood, which is a pity. I personally do not use re-hydration systems, which this is set up for. The weak spot is the snow valance where the cord tends to rub the coating off fairly quickly, but most rucksacks seem to have this format. Acceptable weight considering the excellent material gauge.

Brushes for detail.

Wish I had bought these earlier ! They are not for large area painting, but for fine detail. The heads hold their shape in use, and do not suffer from loose bristles. You can lay them flat, without rolling, or the paint touching the surface. Had to make my own stand to keep them "in order". Cannot suggest anything to improve.
