Battery seemed to work fine.
On first use, the battery did work for 2 days without recharging. The plastic tools ended up losing their edge. I used a sharp razor knife to open the ipod as I had seen in a repair video. That seemed to work best. So far so well.

Good unit for the price
It was a solid buy. I would use an exacto knife or razor knife to ope the unit. The blades worked better. The screen leaves a 1/2 second trail where you have touched it that i did not remember with the original screen but it made no difference if operation. I would buy it again.

Can't beat the price used
I needed a Garmin for my motorcycle and a weather proof one is very expensive. I buy used regular ones cheap and when they die, I buy another one.
