Best Seat for Room in a Sportster
I am 6’ tall and use my 2007 Sportster XL1200Low around town in the summer. The Harley stock seat and their Sundowner seat didn’t give me any room, even after I installed 12” mini-apes and forward controls. And they both are two-up seats and that’s not the look I want. I was $2500+ into seats, handlebars and forward controls, and still no room. Then I found this seat and took another chance. Wow, it’s a different bike and I love this setup. Moves me well back from the tank and a slight bit up. Very comfortable and much better than Harley’s sundowner seat. Perfect with the mini-apes and forward controls. I put the backrest on and my wife will go get ice cream with me, even though it’s a solo seat. Couldn’t be happier. You hit a homerun with this seat Drag Specialties!! Very happy and a big thank you from Maine!
