Highly recommended even with issues...
Well when they are right they work awesome. I have a bunch of these in my higher end foam jets and they just make them a pleasure to fly. I am a guy that used to think gyros were for beginners. Not the case! They make a great pilot even better! I have received a few through ebay that have problems with the rudder gyro function. it also appears that some ham handed individual may have torqued on the gain screws, which are plastic and partially stripped them out. Possibly these were customer returns? I have put these defective gyros in smaller edf jets that dont have rudders, they work fine in those.
