Fits snugly (perfectly) inside 1/2 inch PVC flexible vinyl tubing (like the type I use in my multi container hydro setup)
Brush diameter is .500". Working length of bristles is 2.800". Working length of assembly is 23". Bristle material I suspect is black nylon. Fits snugly (perfectly) inside 1/2 inch PVC flexible vinyl tubing (like the type I use in my multi container hydro setup).

Works great. Awesome product. Thanks for availability.
Works great. Awesome product. I set a hot clothes iron turned all the way up on top of a clean and dry used pod for six seconds after I have put a new cover on it then I immediately turn the pod upside down onto a flat surface and place hand pressure down onto the pod for another six seconds, after I had carefully and completely scraped off the old covers remaining residue on the edge with an old style square razor blade, after I had peeled off the old cover by hand. Warning: Do not do this on your nice table cloth though especially if it is vinyl or plastic. It will leave an imprint in it from the hot pod surface. I learned this the hard way! I prepped the pods by peeling off the old cover, then banging them into the trash can and snapping my finger against them a couple times to help get out as much grounds as I could. Then I rinsed them out under full cold faucet sink water pressure while carefully brushing the old filter with my fingertip. I then threw out any pods that had a loose, damaged or unglued filter. I shook them dry and then placed them upside down onto a cookie rack that I had placed on top of a cookie sheet that had a lip around the edge. I then placed them in my natural gas kitchen oven on the middle rack and set the temp at 175F for one half hour. They probably dried sooner but I did not check periodically. I was afraid to go beyond thirty minutes because I was afraid the pods might melt. The lowest temp on my gas oven is 175F. Otherwise I probably would have set it lower to also be safer to prevent melting the pods. My oven only used a flame that was at the bottom of it under the ovens panel. Let your pods cool completely before handling them to fill them. I used a small electronic digital gram scale (AWS-American Weigh Scales) and placed the cooled pod onto it and set the tare to zero. Then I put ten grams of coffee I had just finely ground in my Krups electric grinder into each pod. I shook my grinder up and down while tightly holding it together to prevent burning the coffee at the bottom of the grinder while grinding it. The reason I used ten grams was because I opened a couple different brands of brand new coffee pods and weighed the removed coffee. The average weight was 9.5 grams. I tried eleven grams but my coffee was too strong for me. I set my coffee cup selection at 12 ounces. A couple words of advice: Clean your old pods within two or three days at most. I waited a week on some and I definitely found a little mold starting to grow onto the old filter element. Also after you place the new foil cover onto the top of your pod prior to sealing, make sure you center the weight of your iron so your iron does not slide around otherwise your foil cover will move off center and leave a gap for coffee to spill out. I did not apply any hand pressure onto my iron. I just laid it onto the top and let go for six seconds then I immediately lifted my iron off after I heard the glue or something start to quietly sizzle from the heat of the iron. You might only need to rest your iron for five seconds or less. I had to experiment to get my final result that made me happy. I am sure you will need to also. One final note of advice: Make sure you put the foil side towards the coffee and the pink colored edged side facing away from the pod. If you do not get the foil sided area of the cover off of your hot iron fast enough after accidentally putting your iron on it you may not get it off! And lastly: Gently rotate your used pod until it drops into your brewer so the old pierced hole falls back over the piercing thing. This way you do not make multiple holes in your old pods. I hope I helped.
