They almost got it right
7 of 9 found this helpful The Minitaur sounds fantastic. It has 2 honest to God analog oscillators, envelope generators, and all the goodies you want. It feels well made, and would probably stand up to the rigors of live performance.
But that's where the problem is.
Moog makes a big deal about the Minitaur shipping with a bunch of presets, and you can modify and save those, or write your own, and save them, using their free, downloadable editor. Fantastic.
But....really big but, there is no way to know what preset you are on without your PC. So in a live situation, it's very easy to get lost.
How much would it have cost to add a little 2 digit display, and a up/down button?
