Nice, easy to use
It was easy to set it up as a backup for my Linux system, accessing it via SSH. I created a folder on this drive and mounted it on the Linux system, and have set up cron jobs for daily backups. It is quiet, easy to use, relatively low cost, and provides lots of storage (2 terabytes). I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, because it feels like it is in a plastic case. Plastic is a thermal insulator, and so it likely won't run as cool as it would if it were in a metal case (metal is a thermal conductor). Because lifespan of electronic and electromechanical devices is a function of temperature, I expect that the typical lifespan of the drive will be reduced somewhat in comparison to what it would be if it were in a metal case. Other than that, it seems to be a fine unit, and as long as it keeps doing what it is doing now, I have no complaints.

Excellent mouse pad
I have purchased many mouse pads over the years, and this is the best. It has a thick, heavy rubber base which is comfortable and doesn't slip on the desk. The size is perfect, and the solid color looks good to my eyes. I would buy it again.

3 of 3 found this helpful I had high hopes for this radio, since it is the only CB radio I have found which fits the "1 din" size slot in my car. I also like the set of features that it has, such as the front firing speaker, the channel-scanning capability, and the weather reception.
HOWEVER, this unit puts out a continuous and annoying 500 Hz square wave tone on the speaker. It doesn't matter what environment it is operated in, or what it has for an antenna or power supply; the problem is the same. It's not affected by the volume control or the squelch. I sent the first "defective" unit back, and the replacement I received did the same thing (the replacement was a different serial number, so I know that it was not the same unit.) Because of this defect, it was a sadly disappointing radio for me.
