'Dogs of the Iditarod' tells what the book is about.
The author shows that he loves these dogs by the way he tells their stories. These dogs love to run! The photos are excellent. The book is a great introduction to the great Alaskan dog race from Anchorage to Nome (starts March 7, 2009). You can follow the race at www.iditarod.com as there is very little in newspapers or on TV. I bought copies of this book for 8 relatives because it is so good.
