    Shiny and does the job
Needed these to finish up a "pretty" vintage frame project. Needed these to be nice and shiny, which they are. Fit, and work as hoped.

    Hard work, but worth it
I scoffed at several reviews stating how difficult these were to install, but they ended up being a challenge for me on my flavor vintage bike frame. But, it's a challenge because the parts are well made, and stiffer and stronger and you can't fake it as easily as you might with cheaper, bendier types. Once installed, they keep put, don't make a sound, and aren't going to be headache rubbing my tires. Still waiting on the rains to test the business end of these, but I expect them to work well. They look good too, if you like the shiny stuff.

    Pretty good GAS relief
Being newish to photography this particular attack of GAS was inevitable. The internet is full of useful and less useful advice on how much money to spend on a tripod before it is "worth the money". Most people who know sneer at anything less than $300. I had a cheap tripod for a while that I always hated, it was fussy to use and hard to clamp the camera quite where I wanted it. After that I borrow a few more expensive but equally cheap tripods that worked but started to let me down with heavier lenses (really the head's fault). This one, together with the Benro B-0 head is a whole new world. The camera just feels better and more solid. I'm no worried about the whole thing tumbling down anymore. My pictures have not gotten better since I spent the money...but then GAS never helps in that department. But I like using this. It is well made and solid feeling. It is heavier than I wanted. Not really backpackable (but I will) and the legs are a little stiff to extend.
