If you need it, buy it!
There are a lot of positive reviews for this product on and off the internet, and now I know why. If you need to use a Nikkor lens detached from a Nikon body (reverse, bellows, incompatible intermediate e.g. teleconverter), this is what you could use. I also recommend a suitable cable release.

This product is brilliant.
Much better than shaking, stirring, addition of ball bearings prior to agitation etc. Using this powerful little mixer gave new life to long settled enamel modelling paints. The alternative was to either throw them out or after lots of manual stirring trying to use them just to end up with a pale glossy echo of the original matt color. Saved me a fortune in replacement purchases. I will be buying a spare for back up.
