An Excellent film,Heartwarming story,beautifully acted,Highly watchable.
An enjoyable film,showcasing the early talents of Hayley Mills & others.A naive & innocent story,made in the '60's when children were real children. A gentle & heartwarming adventure with lovely & lovable characters who are humourous & believable.I bought this because I loved it when it was first made & I saw it at the Cinema.
It is now also a good social documentary as it is 60 years old.It is atmospheric, as shot in black & white, which lends itself well to the simple,almost bleak living conditions & the stark rural surroundings.An inspiring story,beautifully filmed & acted-contains some well known actors, but the real stars are the children......Enjoy.!!

A splendid film,the dog is the true Star.!!
This is an excellent film,atmospheric and true to it's era,with Poirot at his best.He is ably assisted by a wonderful little side-kick named BOB,a wire haired fox terrier,who makes an already good film an absolute must.The action is fast & the tension well sustained.The costumes and effects are truly representative of the age and the characters are believeable.I thoroughly enjoyed this film and I LOVED Bob.
